Client Background & Role Summary:

Our client is a construction company in the market undertaking projects in infrastructural and civil engineering works. They are looking for a strong Contract Executive.

Main Responsibilities:

• Experience with analysis of tender, preparation of tender submission & BQ, cost estimation, handle claims and payment for the project.
• Measurement of quantity, experience in taking off.
• Experience in managing people.
• Processing of  progress claim and variations to ensure on time submissions.
• Measure actual work at site and analyze subcontractor prices.
• To perform any other Ad-hoc assignments as and when required by the management.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Post Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Degree, Quantity Surveyor or equivalent.
• At least 4 year(s) of infrastructure and building related projects working experience as a QS is required for this position and handling or managing staff under in terms of junior quantity surveyor.
• Preferably candidates specializing in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Should be conversant with MS Office, particularly easy in working with Excel spread sheets in added advantage.
• Undertake and carry out works with responsibilities and eye for details.
• Good planning skill and willing to learn and take up challenges.
