Technical Lead (Java)

Client Background & Role Summary:

Our client is a leading FinTech player in the ASEAN region. They are looking for a Technical Lead.

Role Purpose:

• Plan, manage, design, train and monitor developers within modules/sub-project to ensure project requirements are met.
• Review and recommend appropriate solutions, lead and advising a solution framework within the broad project direction in order to achieve projects goal.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Any Degree.
• Minimum 8 years of working experience.

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

• Advance programming language (Java, J2EE, Spring Boot etc.)
• Advance database knowledge (MariaDB, Microsoft SQL, MySQL, etc.)
• Advance web development (HTML, Javascript, JQuery, CSS, )
• Advance understanding of developing and modelling tools (Understand technical specifications (UML), etc.)
• Proficient understanding of common design pattern, common frameworks and platforms.

Highlights of Output:

• Design the project architecture to ensure that the project architecture is robust, scalable, and adaptable for future changes.
• Plan, manage, and monitor scope to ensure that it is within SOW and on-schedule by delegating and reviewing development task to appropriate team members
• Manage both internal and external stakeholders to ensure quick issues resolution by open communication Train and guide the team members to ensure they attain necessary skill set to perform their tasks.
• Perform code review to ensure code quality Design and produce technical specifications using developing and modelling tools (UML) to meet project requirements and is in line with product architecture and framework best practices.
• Perform code development when necessary and to ensure that the codes developed meets project requirement and development best practice.
• Produce quality deliverables according to the quality standard by employing quality assurance tools and methodology.
• Resolve issues so as to ensure timely resolution and within SLA and quality standards by applying logical thinking & problem solving skill Perform impact analysis to ensure accurate effort estimation and risk assessment.
