Client Background:
Our client is one of the leading material science companies in the world. They are looking for a Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
- Accountable for ASEAN S&OP process and for Regional S&OP roll up.
- Key point of contact for Commercial and ASEAN leadership to communicate and support the business objectives and strategies.
- Coordinates the activities from S&OP forum, and provides direction and assistance on resolution of complex issues and potential problems related to Supply planning and Demand management.
- Conduct rough cut capacity and scenario planning to be able to validate and present data and analytics to facilitate decision making.
- Prepare data and material for monthly S&OP meetings that will facilitate decisions around equipment, labor and all other resources needed to support demand over the S&OP planning horizon.
- To liaise closely with ASEAN Supply Plants.
- To liaise closely with Business in understanding market demand & trend.
- Continue improvement and seeking for initiative project for S&OP process.
- To liaise closely with Marketing in support of new projects/product launches which require Supply Chain for quick action and execution.
- To be a member of Regional S&OP, working closely with the Regional S&OP team in the regular S&OP process and implementing improvement projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required.
- 7-10 years of experience in Supply Chain (experience in S&OP, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Inventory Planning in manufactured environment).
- Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills, including multi-tasking and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, follow up and attention to details. Adaptable to multiple requests, daily changes and still deliver on commitments.
- B2B Business experience is required.
- Understanding of financial systems and the key drivers within the manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Able to communicate effectively with senior management, peers, and colleagues cross-functionally.
- Must be able to work independently while still functioning well in a team environment.
