Project Manager

Client Background & Role Summary:

Our client, a leading FinTech player in the ASEAN region based in KL is looking for a Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build strong relationships with clients in the payment industry, which includes e-Commerce, and IT organizations, to understand business strategies and demand to set proper expectations where warranted.
• Maintain a proactive awareness of the payment industry technology systems and environment, which includes application support and infrastructure categories.
• Oversee various technology projects, directly or indirectly, and interact with various partners for procurement and implementation of the company’s initiatives. This includes successful project oversight, budget targets, and timely completion.
• Have accountability for the overall project delivery, successful execution and delivery of projects that meet scope, timing, and cost goals.
• Work closely with IT technical and support teams to manage overall project stability.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of working experience in a business analyst job role. Preferably with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the payment industry technology and processes.
• Ability to think strategically and creatively, and communicate effectively in a fast-moving, rapidly growing environment.
• Solid understanding of privacy and PCI regulations.
• Experience gathering business needs and creating workable outcomes.
• Experience managing and being accountable for budgets.
