Java Developer

Client Background & Role Summary:

Our client is an established Australian/ Singaporean telco operator in Singapore. They are currently looking for a Java Developer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing application requirement analysis, solution design, specification and undertake development on key systems.
• Produce system documentations (using Confluence).
• Collaborating with various business stakeholders, project managers, business analysts and other developers achieving high standards in project delivery and post-deployment software support.
• Providing support to business applications.

Requirements:

• Tertiary or degree qualifications in Computing science/engineering qualification or recognized equivalent.
• Excellent analysis and programming skills.
• Experience with the following tools/technologies/architectures (minimum of 3 years of experience):
  • Java EE
  • Spring MVC / Springboot
  • Oracle SQL / MySQL
  • Hibernate / MyBatis
  • HTML / CSS / JavaScript
  • Angular 2 / jQuery
  • Data formatting (XML/JSON)
  • Web Services API (REST/SOAP/AJAX)
  • Source Control (GIT)
  • Linux / Unix OS
  • Tomcat
• Experience in Telecommunication domain.
• Excellent time management, coordination, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with staff at all levels of the organization, as well as third party providers.
• Experience working with geographically dispersed teams.
• Agile/Scrum SDLC Methodology.
• Techie attitude and mindset (adaptable to latest technology, tools and design trends).

• Microservice Architecture
• JIRA application
• Confluence application
