Client Background:
We are representing our client, one of the top telecommunications companies in Malaysia, in search for a Strategic Account Manager Specialist.
Main Responsibilities:
- Clearly understand & execute the company, Enterprise and Segment strategy to position, penetrate and win in FSI market.
- Clearly understand team and individual target (KPI).
- Discuss with supervisor & develop sales planning and execution plan for mobile & fixed business, IOT & Solutions.
- Establish comprehensive account plans for all assigned accounts and update timely.
- Discuss progressively with supervisor on all opportunities & register deals in CRM.
- Consistently update the deals in CRM and ensure CRM data accuracy.
- Organize review session with supervisor for opportunity roadmap, funnels and other developments.
- Establish solid client relationship and enhance client engagement.
- Ensure consistent communications with client on the Company’s latest offerings, solutions and technology updates.
- Manage a set of client accounts assigned, consistently identify and develop sustainable business opportunity. Position as consultant for the Company’s client (problem solver).
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (presales, product, marketing, solutions, channel team, network etc.) & manage partners for sales activities.
- Orchestrate communication and collaboration between cross functional teams and customers.
- Plan, organize & execute sales initiatives; events, roadshows, courtesy visits, etc.
- Drive every opportunity to closure, seek supervisor’s help/guidance for problems.
Requirements:
- Tertiary education in relevant field of study.
- Ideal candidate should be with minimum 5 – 10 years of progressive experience in IT/Technology/Telco business and key account management in either sales field.
- Great knowledge about Telco, ICT, IOT, product and solutions.
- Strong communications skills, PR skills, strategic skills, execution skills, charismatic skills and general skills.
- Dynamic builder of relationships with key customers and operations.
- Sales experience selling Telco/ICT solutions to large corporate companies (Govt/conglomerates/Telc/ICT/property/manufacturing/FSI/Plantation sector) is an added advantage.
- Personal traits: Positive, Passionate, Collaborative, simple, trustworthy, creative, brave.
- Pleasant personality with commendable attitude.
- A self-starter, proactive, committed, disciplined, energetic, team player with leadership qualities.
- Able to perform under pressure in a challenging environment.
