Client Background:

Our client is an international solutions provider of digital services. They are looking for an Account Manager, Sales.

Role Summary:

You will be responsible for developing relationship with corporate clients with a focus on annuity-based services business. Account management responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders and preparing sales reports. Account Managers also answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers.
The Account Manager is expected to work in conjunction with Sales, Sales Support, Technical Operation, and Solution Architect.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate consistent and profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning.
  • Identify target customer and improve sales strategies and action plans via strong analysis of the market so as to build a funnel of opportunities large enough to meet sales objective.
  • Work with cross functional teams to develop comprehensive solutions to address business opportunities and meet customer’s specific requirement.
  • Work closely together with distributors and vendor for better market reach.
  • Engage effectively with all levels across a customer’s organization to include all C-Level executive, negotiable with customers and effectively close business deals.
  • To understand and identify corporate customers’ ICT needs through account planning and profiling.
  • Update sales activities (customer meetings, PoC, etc), deal cost analysis and provide accurate pipeline forecast to key management team.
  • Work closely with local partners (Vendors, Distributors, consulting partners etc.) and pre-sales team on bidding strategy.
  • Deliver across a balanced scorecard of targets for the group (annual revenue and profit targets) while developing a long terms strategy for growth.
  • Excel business objectives and maintain excellent levels of customer satisfaction with key Account clients at C level.

Requirements:

  • University graduate major in computing, business administration and Telecom related will be essential.
  • Minimum 5 year’s sales experience in either ICT or Cybersecurity solutions is preferable with proven sales track records.
  • Demonstrated experience of business and market development, including complex sales business-to-business cycles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong customer relationship and base (key stakeholders) is a must.
  • Good command of written and spoken English is essential.
  • A good track record of sales.
  • Result / goal-orientation and strong leadership skills.
  • Confident and creative negotiation skills.
  • Ability to anticipate and solve problems or resolve issues.
  • Ability to build and gain customers’ trust.
  • Independent, dedicated with a strong passion for the job, and able to work on extended hours.
