Client Background & Role Summary:

Our client is listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX), creating technologies to enable the Digital Economy and are in the foundation of computing principles, grounded on mathematical models. Their solution suite provides retail banks with a range of banking software that enables them to address their core banking, customer management, online banking, mobile banking and card management requirements. They are looking for a Senior Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the full spectrum of financial and accounting functions and business support for the sub-group and/or companies assigned. Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • To lead a team about 13 – 15
  • Manage and lead the finance team to ensure effective day-to-day operation of overall accounting and financial functions
  • Timely and accurate monthly/quarterly/annual financial and management reporting, in compliance with the applicable governing standards and regulations and group reporting requirements
  • Manage project and contract review, budgeting, accounting and revenue recognition
  • Manage cash flow and working capital and ensure optimal returns on cash
  • Management of tax matters and ensuring compliance to laws and regulations and overall tax efficiency
  • Planning, forecasting and budgeting
  • Coordinate and liaise with the internal and external auditors, the company secretary, tax consultants, bankers, lawyers and other governing authorities pertaining to statutory requirements
  • Formulate and enforce continuous improvement on financial and operations internal controls, policies and procedures
  • Provide the group and management with business analysis and strategic advice on financial, tax, regulatory and compliance matters
  • Undertake adhoc assignments or restructuring of portfolio as directed by the management from time to time

Requirements:

  • Possess recognized degree or professional qualification in Accountancy
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience with must have at least 3-5 years accounting firm experience either from big 4 or medium firm
