Client Background & Role Summary:

Our client is an established global leader in Business Intelligence and Analytics solution looking for a Senior Account Manager to manage clients and implement Sales & Marketing strategy within the FSI sector. This role is to report to the Sales Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop sales, business and strategy plans for the FSI sector to achieve or exceed agreed levels of profitable sales
  • Develop and generate new business through strategy-based selling and managing relationships with key accounts
  • Formulate business plan, ensuring detailed and strategic account plans are available to support the business planning process
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts of business trends to achieve or exceed revenue
  • Ensure the Company maximizes brand exposure and positioning activities in the specific sector
  • Work closely with management team to ensure that sales activity, focus, solutions expertise is maximized in the specific sector or targeted accounts
  • Analyze assigned FSI space to determine focus sales strategies
  • Initiate programs/initiatives to increase contacts at Senior Levels of customer’s business (“C” level), uncover customer’s need and map to possible solutions
  • Articulate to clients the business value of adopting the Company’s solution
  • Manage large or strategic account strategy
  • Give presentations internally on the Company’s solutions, industry segments, conveying customer perceptions and opportunities
  • Demonstrate best practices by experience sharing of customers’ success stories with prospective customers
  • Responsible for negotiating mutually beneficial contracts between the Company and the Customers.


  • At least Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
  • At least 8 years of related direct selling experience, preferably with multi-national company, possessing an in-depth knowledge of business and software consulting
  • Demonstrate proven record of complex solution selling to specific sector
  • Strong experience in new business development ad able to penetrate into new accounts to drive both strategic opportunities and short term opportunities
  • Good understanding of sales cycle management, able to effectively apply and manage the appropriate sales methodology
  • Experience in selling to C-level and well-connected in the marketplace
  • Require a broad understanding of clients’ business and industry issues
  • Knowledge of advanced strategic sales techniques, knowledge of hardware and/or software acquisition cycles and buying influences
  • Excellent account management skill with proven track records & communication & presentation / demonstration skills
