Client Background & Role Summary:

Our client is a reputable telecommunication provider in Malaysia, with a variety of communication products, applications and value-added services. They are looking for a Regional Program Manager, reporting to the Head of West Malaysia Regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and track sales, network, channel expansion plans and activities in markets where we have large potentials to win market share and boost regional subscriber base and revenue
  • Work closely with regional sales team to plan for specific segment (ie. Migrant, campus, youth, etc) attacks, and will assist to collaborate with Product development and Go-To-Market (GTM) teams to develop necessary support
  • Use data driven insights to help sales teams understand channel / dealer / the Company’s campaign productivity and drive improvement plans and projects to improve sales performance
  • Collaborate with other regional program managers to understand Best in Class practices and performances in order to deploy best practices nationwide
  • Evaluate effectiveness of central based program initiated ie. Training, trade program, etc and provide necessary insights and feedback to the on ground sales team and product GTM teams respectively
  • Monitor and track strategic regional indicators ie. Self-reload adoption, reduction in physical reload distribution, Hybrid expansion and profitability, Fiber penetration, winning market share in underserved markets, growth in youth segment
  • Track on-ground implementation and use data driven insights to help the regional team tweak strategies to maximise performance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Sales & Marketing or equivalent field
  • At least 8 years of experience in relevant field
  • Strong understanding of sales competency and capability
  • Good communication, presentation and coaching skills
