Client Background & Role Summary:

Our client is a reputable telecommunication provider in Malaysia, with a variety of communication products, applications and value-added services. They are looking for a Marketing Specialist – Retail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to develop, plan and execute marketing calendar for customer engagements, product or solutions promotions & bundling propositions at retail centers and Enterprise Inspirational showcase, to drive in customer traffic to centers at nationwide level, and ensuring Enterprise AOP targets for retail centers are met
  • Joint responsibility with VPM segment & sales in driving micro bundles target and other relevant vertical targets in retail centers
  • Work with stakeholders on the development of Enterprise presence/showcase in the Company retail centers in areas of proposition and communications, and strategise the best way to showcase Enterprise business solutions and products
  • Plan the enterprise customer journey in the centers and the journey to influence a purchase consideration
  • Conceptualize and develop Enterprise Inspirational showcase center with stakeholders
  • Lead the Enterprise team in working with retail center team in optimizing Enterprise presence in retail centres, lead on the POSM development and communication in store
  • Responsible for the planning and monitoring of Enterprise marketing expense budget for retail centres is within annual plan budget and the expense is used optimally to drive Enterprise product and solutions sales in stores
  • Build sustainable tracking in enterprise marketing expense budget, marketing campaign performance reporting mechanism for Enterprise retail showcase and the Company retail centres
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver positive in-store customer experience by creating conducive customer journey, to deliver  a positive pre and post sales experience for Enterprise customers


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Retail or Marketing
  • Total Work Experience: 7 to 10 years
  • Exposure to business development or retail sales is imperative
  • Good business acumen, retail sales experience and sales management experience is essential
