Client Background & Role Summary:
Our client is a top property company. They are currently looking for a General Manager – Sales & Marketing (Property Development). Role reports to Chief Marketing & Sales Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Plan and Strategies
- Develop overall marketing objectives, strategies & action plans to ensure marketability & salability of all products within the relevant Bus and including JV projects
- Oversee end-to-end strategy, planning and execution of all new product launches and ensure launch success
- Implement action plans to market and sell ‘not new launches’ and completed stock
- Develop product branding strategies in accordance to targeted market segments & ensure alignment to group brand strategy
- Identify & implement effective communication strategies, marketing collaterals and sales-aids to target prospects
- Formulate pricing strategies with market intelligence in place
- Ensure smooth implementation and execution of campaigns and initiatives
Market Opportunities & Product Development
- Identify market trends & opportunities, review competitor activities and changes in consumer needs/wants
- Ensure products developed are aligned with the right targeted market segment, are market driven, innovative and differentiated
- Identify product characteristics & USPs for product development as part of product brief
Sales & Budget Management
- Manage A&P ROI and ensure spending is within the target effectiveness threshold
- Monitor sales progress, bookings & conversions
- Oversee performance of sales teams and sales managers
- Review marketing methodologies and post-mortem of campaigns and initiatives
Product Branding & Customer Satisfaction
- Ensure general customer satisfaction and brand loyalty is maintained/improved
- Implement relationship building with customers through loyalty & rewards
- Identify market partners, co-branding, database initiatives
Township Operations & Maintenance Teams
- Coordination with relevant teams for smooth implementation & product delivery in terms of time, quality & commitment
Joint Ventures
- Overall involvement & coordination related to marketing & sales functions & responsibilities
Requirements:
- Degree in Business / Marketing or relevant discipline
- Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience, preferably with good working knowledge in property development / commercial & retail development / real estate management.
