Client Background & Role Summary:

Our client is listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX), creating technologies to enable the Digital Economy and are in the foundation of computing principles, grounded on mathematical models. Their solution suite provides retail banks with a range of banking software that enables them to address their core banking, customer management, online banking, mobile banking and card management requirements. They are looking for a Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and prepare effective budget and business plan templates for the Group
  • Comply with the approved policy of budgeting regarding the deadlines and the management of the budgeting process
  • Review, analyze and consolidate budgets submit by subsidiaries and critically examines them for correctness, accuracy and completeness; and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives
  • Conduct budget review session with head of finance and Chief Executive Officer of subsidiary
  • Timely and accurate reporting of Group’s Budget to Management and Board
  • Analyzing actual results to budgets and forecasts
  • Conduct impairment testing of cash generating units
  • Prepare, analyze and manage Group’s Cash Flow Position and Forecast, including working capital requirement
  • Evaluate, develop and implement cash management systems to optimize efficiencies
  • Support / advise business units with regard to Treasury and banking issues
  • Monitoring and managing the organisation’s bank relationships and compliance with Banking Facilities’ Covenants
  • Assist in preparation of management and board reports
  • Formulate and enforce continuous improvement on planning, budgeting policies and procedures
  • Undertake adhoc assignments or restructuring of portfolio as directed by the management from time to time


  • Possess recognized degree or professional qualification in Accountancy and/or member of MIA
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience with 3 years accounting firm experience either from big 4 or medium firm
  • Familiarity with forecasting methods and data analysis
  • Must have group budgeting experience
  • Added advantage if has experience in treasury (liaise with bank), group consolidation, commercial and audit
